Alex completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Queensland in 1985 with post graduate studies in Advanced Manipulative Therapy, Acupuncture and Classical Pilates. In over 40 years of clinical practice, he has worked nationally and internationally with a vast range of clients from Olympic athletes, post-operative rehab to premature babies. His current special interest is Aquatic Physiotherapy. The Harden practice contains the best hydrotherapy pool in Australia, ensuring the highest level of aquatic physiotherapy.
Alex is the patented inventor of the NeckTek cervical orthotic device.

Liz has spent parts of the last 40 years working in
the health sector and has collaborated with Alex for over two decades. Her diverse career also includes experience in art, design, and restoration. In addition to her role as receptionist, Liz is dedicated to running fitness classes specifically for carers in our community—people who often put others' wellbeing before their own. -

Megan Keelan AES, AEP | Exercise Physiologist / Exercise Scientist
Megan is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist/Exercise Scientist who joined our practice in 2025. She graduated from James Cook University with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology (Clinical) in 2011, and has worked as an EP for private practices and non-for-profit organisations across regional QLD and NSW towns since then.
Exercise is a powerful tool in the prevention, treatment and management of many chronic health conditions; Megan is passionate about sharing this message with the community. Megan can provide advice and guidance about the importance of physical activity and exercising safely; and can prescribe evidence-based exercise and movement interventions to help clients achieve their health and performance goals. -
Jane Martin B.Ed. HPE | Volunteer Wellness coordinator
Over a 25-year teaching career in both Queensland and the UK, Jane consistently delivered fitness, sport, swimming, and HPE programs. In addition, she was responsible for designing and overseeing both the school's swimming and sporting programs. Jane has a lifelong interest in how movement and muscle development can support the body’s healing process.
